Search Engine Baru dari Microsoft: Bing.com
Microsoft meluncurkan Search Engine baru yang diberi nama Bing.com, tepatnya pada tanggal 28 Mei 2009 pengumuman official release tentang Search Engine tersebut diumumkan. Selengkapnya baca di sini: Bing official release.
Press release tersebut bertemakan: “Microsoft’s New Search at Bing.com Helps People Make Better Decisions”. Dengan tema ‘Decision Engine’, Microsoft coba memberikan layanan Search Engine yang lebih bagus, tentu saja menyajikan layanan yang lebih bagus dari para competitor nya, terutama Google.
Microsoft meng-klaim Bing bisa memberikan layanan hasil pencarian dengan lebih cepat, informasi yang akurat dan lebih lengkap. Setelah mencobanya, Bing memang lebih cepat, yaitu dengan fasilitas ‘preview content’. Dengan fasilitas ‘preview content’, kita tidak perlu membuka url website-website hasil pencarian untuk melihat informasi website tersebut, cukup klik more info saja.
Tentang akurasi dan lebih lengkap, saya sendiri belum bisa melihat bahwa Bing sangat bagus dalam hal akurasi dan kelengkapan search result listing.
Tingkat kepuasan para pengguna Internet (a.k.a. Search Engine) tentu akan berpengaruh pada masing-masing Search Engine. Jika Bing bisa memberikan informasi yang akurat, lengkap dan cepat, maka orang-orang akan enjoy dan senang menggunakan Search Engine Bing, baik itu para Searchers dan para Advertisers PPC Search.

It’s just microsoft’s answer to try to compete with Google, they came up with what they claim is a revolutionary way to search so they gave it a different name to try to set it apart from Google

I had used it many time, you can say now I am using it regularly. My experience with it is very good.
@promotional plastic mugs– you are right, I had used both of them, But Google is ultimate. We had seen that Yahoo and microsoft have a deal for next ten years. But they can’t fight with google.
