I actually don’t recommend ANY Bose home theater. They are overpriced and severely lacking in the range required for good Home Theater Sound. Also having a standard DVD in the center of your system is not going to be good enough long term, you are going to want a Blu Ray before too long and that will mean adding another component to your system.
Assuming about 30 percent deducted for taxes social security, medicare, and insurance, to leave you about $3,000 per month your salary would have to be about $51,000 per year. With 35 percent deducted, you would need $55,000 and with only 25 percent deducted, you could manage with $48,000.
I want to ask about Blu Ray, which is the Blu Ray itself is what? and why standard DVD in the center of the system is not good enough for the long term? whether the equipment used is not meet international standards? please answer my question? because I also use Bose home theater.

The amount mentioned is net of income taxes and you have your fixed expenses covered as well, so sure you can have a good lifestyle in BKK with USD 3,000.- in spending money.

I would definitely not extend yourself past 1/4 of your take home pay which would be about 1/5 of your net income. There simply isn’t a reason to extend yourself any further. You need to be putting 15%-20% away for retirement and funding your child’s education among other things. Too many people take away from saving and investing when they buy too much house.
That should give you a rough idea. How many deductions you would have depend on the job’s fringe benefits, and the state in which you live. Some states deduct state income tax, so don’t have an income tax. some employer subsidize insurance. If there is a retirement plan to which you contribute it may mean a larger deduction..
